Admission policy
     
  It is the University policy to welcome candidates of all backgrounds - age, gender, region etc., who have the ability and motivation to benefit from their intended programs. Mature students whose education was interrupted by the war or who want to pursue a new carrier or just upgade their knowledge are as welcome as young students straight from secondary schools.

Admission Requirements

All schemes of study, whether they are degree or non degree courses, offered by the University shall specify the requirements of entry to each in terms of:

(a) standard certificated qualifications
(b) pass mark thresholds
(c) knowledge
(d) skills, and competence
(e) standard of English Language or other language competence
(f) numeracy skills
(g) supporting documents (for example transcripts, certificates etc.)

Applicants for undergraduate degree programs from national and international recognised secondary schools shall be required to:
a) provide a secondary school leavers certificate or equivalent and transcript
b) have achieved an average pass mark of at least B grade or equivalent
d) pass the University’s entrance examination.

Other applicants, including mature students who might have lost their documents during the war, shall be interviewed and/or tested to establish the level of previous education attained. They shall be also required to sit for and pass the University’s entrance examination. If there are more candidates than places available, those with the highest pass mark in the entrance examination shall have preference.

For students who transfer from accredited national and international institutions, the University shall recognise subjects credits earned in these institutions subject to verification of the authenticity of documents provided.
